At Columbia Canine Cottage doggies are treated to an experience that is much, much more than dog boarding. It is more like visiting a family friend. We pride ourselves in creating a stress-free, anxiety-free environment for our guests. Our goal is to provide a boarding option that is more in line with how we'd want our loved ones cared for when we're away.
The guests live as a part of our family. They have access to a large fenced back yard (5000 sq ft). There is an extra-large dog door that gives them access to an indoor play area with plenty of doggy beds strewn about for lounging around.

In the afternoon, we have Human Play Time where the guests get that much desired human interaction. We get out there and play fetch, tug-of-war, or just give lots of pets and hugs.
At night, the guests are welcomed into the master bedroom and find a comfortable spot on the floor around the bed. Or they can sleep in the play area on a dog bed or even outside if they choose.
